Principal's Message

Patricia Gonzalez
Dr. Patricia Gonzalez has been a Principal in District 111 for the past four years at Rosa G. Maddock Elementary. Previously, she held the position of Assistant Principal at Liberty Jr. High for several years. Prior to her administrative roles, Dr. Gonzalez taught 7th grade Social Studies and EL in District 111. She received her Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership from St. Francis University, where she is currently serving as an Alumni Board Member. She also holds a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Olivet University. She enjoys running, traveling, reading, and all things Disney (especially Beauty and the Beast). Dr. Gonzalez looks forward to meeting this year’s Marvelous Maddock students and families, as well as leading the faculty and staff toward a great educational and fun filled year.

Young Authors Contest

The Young Authors Contest promotes writing and creativity by encouraging children to write an original story and present it in book form. The contest is open to all students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Submissions are due Monday, January 23.
